Blindshark
(Brachaelurus waddi)

The blindshark is best recognised by the long nasal barbels. At night it appears from underneath ledges to hunt for invertebrates and small fishes. This shark can grow up to 1.2 m.

When caught and pulled out of the water it closes its eyes, hence its common name.
